Alrighty--can't believe that it's been over a month since my last post. I gotta get my rear in gear here folks! Here is a brief synopsis of our recent happenings! 1)Spence recieved his Bear at Cub Scouts. I was pretty excited that his birthday is still 6 months away and he is done! Kudos to his leaders--they are awesome!
2-This has been the daily scene for a while. Potty training isn't my strong suit. I dread it. After a few weeks of struggles, screams, kicks, reading book after book in the bathroom, accidents (alright, you all know the drill) we are officially potty trained!! Way to go Brigham!! He proudly wears his superman undies now. Such a big boy! 3-Molly's Kindergarten Program was last week. She did so good. She even sang a little solo and did it perfectly! I really can't believe that she is going to be a 1st grader. Stop flying time!!4-Memorial Day at the Dayley Home in Oakley, ID was seriously a breath of fresh air. We met my mom and dad up to Oakley for a nice retreat from the everyday norm. I would say to get away from the "hustle and bustle" but there really isn't much of that here in Montpelier to begin with....
Mowing with grandpa on the John DeereMy uncle Earl and his wife brought their horses up to share. The kids loved it. Brigg kept yelling, "Giddie Up Cookie!!" Spence airborne off the swings. He probably felt like he could fly--nice air!! (Luckily there was no broken arms!)We hope to spend many more quiet weekends in Oakley. Such a neat place to be...
Molly couldn't get enough of the lilacs--ever bush she walked by drew her in for a good sniff!!
