Brigham the Birthday "Man"

I can't believe that our Brigham is 3!! He woke up with a bang, singing "Happy Birthday to Brigham" all morning long. We all had happy good morning birthday hugs--Molly and Spencer loving every minute. We had a fun day together and ended it with birthday cake with friends. He has been WAY into fire engines lately, so I made a fire engine cake...he loved it!!

We love Brigham for his sweet personality and ability to make us all laugh and smile at a moments notice. He makes me melt when he says "mom, i love you." and I wouldn't give anything for our bedtime singing routine.

We love you little guy!! HAPPY BIRTHDAY!

Take Your Hat Off

So the 3rd grade classes put on a program called "Take Your Hat Off" last week. It was all about the history of our great country! Spence was a founding father and got to wear this sweet outfit. He said the wig was a little itchy and sweaty (not good characteristics of a wig if you ask me) but I think he looks pretty distinguished!

Here he is below with some other lucky founding fathers:He got to sing a solo--a fast song about 1776--and did a great job. He told he he "had the butterflies" all day but it didn't show a bit! Great Job Spence!

Bed Head

Look at the beauty that greeted me this morning. This kid works on his 'do all night. He has the best bed head in the world--a masterpiece! It made us all laugh so hard this morning that I had to take some pictures of him. That thing defies gravity!! Who knows what joy it will bring tomorrow!!

By the way, I'm not quite sure why Brigg has the stethescope around his waist...interesting!

Gym Comp 2

Spencer had his second competition in Weber a few weeks ago. Here are a few pics from his events. He did a great job and is determined to work harder and get even better! The day was pretty interesting...lots of snowy roads, molly got sick, and brigg had a blow-out that got all over my coat, his clothes, blankets....needless to say we were glad to be home safe and sound at the end of the day!!
